Don’t Judge A Book By Its Cover

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008

I have always thought about hitting the rough side of town to document “the outsiders.” but I never make the time. Today. I was out shooting some assignments when I came across a group of street kids. Here was my chance. They might look unfriendly but I learned today that they are some of the nicest people ever. So the saying is true: Don’t judge a book by its cover.

Storm on the way!

The first storm of winter cruised by today. I snapped this pic in front of the studio.

Tower District, Fresno CA

Sunday, December 14th, 2008

The Tower District in Fresno is a great place to shoot in the day but I was there shooting a night club. I arrived early on purpose just to walk the streets with my camera. I don’t know what it is but I enjoy shooting manecans, maybe one day I will publish a book on manican images.

Alley Shoot

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

This shoot was with Cuddie, a creative photographer/rapper. We shot on an early saturday and it was super cold. The location wasn’t too far from my studio, its just down the alley. I can shoot this alley for  months and never use the same background twice if I really wanted.
