Anjelah Johnson-Reyes by Frankie Leal

On March 31, 2022, Celeste and I were honored to photograph and film Anjelah Johnson-Reyes' show in Bakersfield, Ca. We have been documenting the comedy world for over a decade now and I must say that comedians are some of the smartest people we know. They spend hours going over their sets with a fine tooth comb. Anjelah is one of the best comedic story tellers, nothing short of genius when it comes to delivery. She knows how to grab her audience's attention and keep them laughing to the very end. Documenting this night is definitely a highlight of our career. A special shout out to Mal Hall for making it happen, thank you Mal.

Enjoy this recap video I shot and directed from Roosevelt Comedy at the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. , finally, it looks like things are getting back to normal.
