When I’m out-of-state shooting photo assignments I like to try the local’s favorite eatery hot spots. When I visited Houston, Texas my client and I had lunch at Dry Creek Cafe. We both ordered The Triple Bypass Burger because Texas Monthly named “The Triple Bypass” burger at Dry Creek Cafe one of the 50 best burgers inTexas. It was definitely one of the best burgers I have ever had. I can’t wait to go back.

I love photographing my kids. They are my favorite subjects to shoot, but Mia cracks me up every time she poses for the camera. She is so ready for Hollywood. LOL

All I got to say about Parlier people is that they know how to party, party, party. Thank you Stephanie for bringing me out. I had a great time with everybody, even with the DJ, big props to DJ Ruben for putting it down all night. The pachanga was in Downtown Fresno at the Holiday Inn on the 9th floor. The downtown skyline was the perfect backdrop for the evening’s portraits. Just check out the slideshow to see what I’m talking about.

I shot my first ever Halloween Wedding in Palm Desert, CA. I always dress in all black when I shoot weddings but I wish I was wearing all white on this day. It was over 100 degrees, come on, it was October, shouldn’t it be cool? It is winter LOL
Never the less I had a great time and the heat didn’t stop us from taking pictures. The whole day was great. Thank you Larry & Sofia for choosing me to shoot your special day. Hope you enjoy the slideshow.

I have never been to Reno, Nevada until I got assigned to travel there for a photo shoot. I have to be honest, it wasn’t what I expected. I expected it to be a lot like Vegas: the crowded sidewalks, the shows, the fights, the clubs, the atmosphere, but no it wasn’t. It almost had the feeling of a ghost town. There were casino’s on the strip shut down, out of business. What Happened Reno?
My assistant shared stories with me about how Reno used to be. According to him, this was the city to be at. Not no more I guess, but its all good. I was still excited about shooting their city. I have seen it in so many movies. So right after I checked in the Atlantis Casino I grabbed my camera and hit the town for some night time photography.

Larry & Sofia got married on Halloween in Palm Desert, CA. I had so much fun shooting their wedding sometimes I forgot I was working. It was like a paid mini vacation.
We stayed at the fantastic Agua Caliente Casino in Palm Desert, CA. Agua Caliente is very much like any Vegas Casino, so you know what I was doing on my time. Cha-Ching!!!!
I took this picture the day before their wedding. I noticed how cool the casino lit up against the desert mountains. I made my own postcard that night.
Check back soon to view their wedding slide show.

Some times shooting high profile figures can be difficult because they got a very busy schedule. Mario Andretti had a speech, lunch, interviews, and a meet & greet to do. I had five minutes with Mario Andretti to get the shot. Setting up and shooting test shots took way longer than the actual shoot.

Thank you Andrew for inviting and everybody else who attended. I look forward in the next one. Above are two flix that I took. I will post more on Andrew’s Facebook.
