Fantastic day. I loved it and learned a ton!!! – Melissa Mayes Goss

My first photography workshop was a blast! I had been wanting to host one for a long time and I am very happy I finally did. The class quickly filled up so a second day was added to keep the class size small and intimate. My main focus was to teach the the average person how to maximize their camera to its potential and how to find good natural light anytime of the day.
I cannot put in words how happy I was to see the expressions of my attendee’s faces after they saw how well their photos were looking, It was “PRICELESS!” Some attendees had just got their camera and yet their photos were looking like a professionals would. They couldn’t believe it. It was an awesome feeling to be able to teach my recipe of a good photo. I will have to host another class soon.
The pictures below were taken by the class attendees and myself in natural light only. A California Sunbounce reflector was used to kick back natural light into the frame.

Chris & Amanda wanted to do something a little different than your typical “happily in love” portraits. Instead they opted for a funner, wilder and added a storyline where they even kill a zombie. I had tons of fun shooting and directing this session. Click the link below to view our short film shot in stills.

To order your high quality prints, simply email frankie@frankieleal.com to request pricing and an order form. All orders placed before December 31st will receive a free 8×10.

On Sunday May 15th 2011 the men of The Vocal Experience (Michael Angel, Jeff Lusk, Mat Bolden and Erik Valencia) auditioned for Simon Cowell’s brand new singing competition The X Factor. From the hundreds of hopefuls that auditioned in Fresno, the guys were chosen as one of ten finalists. The guys will now compete this Thursday on the “Great Day” morning news program on Fox Channel 26 during the 9 o’clock news hour. There they will perform in front of judges Kopi Sotiropulos and Kim Stevens of “Great Day”, Andre Covington from KBOS-B95 and Nick Cash from 102.7 “The Wolf”. At the end of the week, after all ten qualifiers have performed; the judges will select the top two solo singers or singing groups. The winners will then be flown to Dallas, Texas for a guaranteed audition in front of show producers.
